Mounted always on Nikon DSLRs and an unguided GP mount, the SAMYANG 800mm is (under warms climates) suitable for small, bright celestial objects. it is mostly used for globular clusters, prominent planetary nebulas, and the Moon at f/8.
It is also used for distant terrestial targets, and for all situations demanding its controversial donut-bokeh.
It is a nice metal construction, hosts 4 lenses, 2 mirrors, a Schmidt corrector plate and weights 946g. Made in Korea.
